EFK♦Moen is a Civil Engineering Design Consulting firm specializing in roadway/highway/interstate design, founded in 1998. Services include roadway/highway/interstate design; structural/bridge design; professional land surveying; traffic studies and traffic signal design; hydraulic studies, detention and drainage systems; site design; community involvement; construction management.
EFK♦Moen clients include state DOT’s, counties, municipalities, private developers & consulting firms.

 

HISTORY 

The partners at EFK♦Moen are:

 

• Linda Moen, PE, PTOE - President and Company Manager

• PJ Kronlage, PE - Vice President, Engineering

• Darrell Eilers - Vice President, Business Development

 

In February 1998, EFK♦Moen was organized under the laws of the State of Missouri to offer civil engineering design consulting. The doors were opened in March, at a location in the Chesterfield Valley in a St. Louis County Economic Council incubator building, which proved to be a great environment for our growing company.

 

The engineering services we provide are based on integrity and professionalism; and we are dedicated to providing quality service to our clients and substantial career opportunities to our staff.  EFK♦Moen began providing transportation engineering design services as a prime consultant to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District and numerous Counties and Municipalities and private clients throughout the State of Missouri and now our services have expanded throughout the Midwest.

 

In 1999 EFK♦Moen began providing Professional Land Surveying services, now under the direction of Chris Ferrante, PLS. A structural engineering group was created in 2000, now managed by Chris Linneman, PE,SE.

 

EFK♦Moen’s first branch office was opened in March 2004, with Shelley Dintelman, PE, as the Fairview Heights, Illinois office project manager. Shelley and her staff  provide transportation engineering design services as a prime consultant to the Illinois Department of Transportation and numerous counties and municipalities in Southern Illinois.

 

In 2011, EFK♦Moen opened an office in downtown Chicago and developed a strong client list and office staff. Our Chicago office is now led by Joe Havel, PE, providing engineering services as a prime consultant to IDOT; as a JV partner on an Illinois Tollway project; and as a subconsultant to many firms on IDOT and Illinois Tollway projects.

 

In 2015, Jeff Church, PE, joined EFK♦Moen providing construction administrative services for many municipalities in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, as well as IDOT, MoDOT and private developers.

In 2017 EFK♦Moen expanded our reach to the St. Charles, Missouri area by opening an office led by Darrell Eilers.

In 2017 an office was opened in Atlanta, Georgia led by Chris Williams, PE.

​

Our staff Professional Engineers are registered in Missouri, Illinois, Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, Ohio, Nevada, Texas and Iowa; and staff Professional Land Surveyors are registered in Missouri and Illinois.
